4 Fall Trends We Love

Summer vacation is over, but there are exciting trends to look or this fall. We scoped out the runways and found a couple fall trends we are looking forward to:

1. Handbags: The designer handbags, Louis Vuitton, Prada, and D&G are fall textures, warm and subtle leather, meant for complimenting winter coats and chilly weather.
2. Knee Highs: Forget leg warmers, knee high socks are the perfect pair to couple with fall and winter boots.
3. Purple and Neutral Makeup: Purple lips, nails and eyes seemed to be the makeup craze this fall, but models were also seen wearing shimmery neutrals and nudes. Either go bold...or don't!
4. Side-braids: Although this hairstyle was seen on models for Alexander Wang spring 2010, the side-braid has made a seasonal transition into fall. It's easy to do, cute, and functional, perfect for class or work.

"It's Amazing, He's the Reason, Everybody.." Still Talks About Award Shows.

Kanye will make an appearance on stage at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards, and this time it's planned. These days, Kanye seems to be most popular for his ignorant interruption at the 2009 VMA's when he jumped on during Taylor Swift's acceptance speech, claiming that Beyonce actually deserved the award. He later apologized, but that wasn't the only award show mishap that Kanye conquered.

At the 2004 AMA's Kanye threw a name-calling tantrum after "redneck woman" Gretchen Wilson won the award for Best New Artist over him. In 2005, MTV reports "West gives a rambling, impassioned and truly excellent interview to MTV News in which he: a) threatens to have "a real problem" if Late Registration doesn't win Album of the Year, b) predicts that it won't, primarily because of comments he made about George W. Bush during a Hurricane Katrina telethon; c) rips magazines like The Source and Vibe for not bestowing "classic" status on his albums; d) justifies his behavior by repeatedly stating that he spent $600,000 of his own money producing and promotion Registration; and finally, e) compares himself to Tom Cruise. The next day, The American Journal of Psychiatry begins planning a special "Kanye West: The Best of Egotism" double issue.

As if that wasn't enough, in 2006, Kanye's "Touch the Sky" clip loses to Justice and Simian's "We Are Your Friends." "West leapt onstage (preview for 2009) and interrupts the duo's acceptance speech, arguing that his video deserved to win because it "cost a million dollars and Pamela Anderson was in it." As reported by MTV.

Kanye "pouted in the corner" backstage feeding the press with quotes like "I stood on a mountain; I flew a helicopter over Vegas. ... I did it to be the king of all videos."

Well, if there's one thing we can crown him for, it's public outbursts. So just incase his 2010 collaboration "I Want this Forever" with Drake and Eminem doesn't win, we'll be sure to have a backup award on hand: Lifetime Achievement Award for Most Outspoken Artist.

Lollapalooza goes GAGA

"Lolla" a three-day long music festival held in Chicago. Of the 120 plus bands one lady stole the show. Armed with band "Semi Precious Weapons" at her side, Gaga reportedly dove into the crowd, twice, and surfed the fan waves. When asked about her sudden impulse, Gaga tells Ryan Seacrest "because I haven't crowd-surfed in a while." So Gaga is a keep-it-simple woman after all, could have fooled us!

She can deck herself in Kermit heads, but has never been spotted wearing Fetty Jewelry, owned by lead singer of "Semi Precious Weapons" Justin Tranter.

Both artist's Lady Gaga and openly bisexual band "Semi Precious Weapons" are widely known for their provocatively fun music and fabulous fashion choices, as the deadbolt.com says "their message is clear - their music can be dangerous dirty and fun." Love her or hate her, she is on your mind...or hovering above it in a crowd of screaming radicals.

Nicole DiCarlo Radio Interview on Star 100.7 for Project:Style
